Fox Galvin attorneys also have experience with a variety of securities-related matters, from the relatively simple defense of brokers at depositions of divorcing clients, to complex arbitrations before the NASD. Fox Galvin attorneys have handled virtually every type of situation brokers and brokerage houses face, with consistently outstanding results. For example, when a large brokerage house was threatened with being added to a suit in St. Clair County, Illinois, a Fox Galvin attorney successfully defended the broker and ultimately got the matter dismissed prior to suit even being filed. The brokerage house was saved incredible time and expense.

We also have significant experience representing real estate professionals. Our attorneys understand the importance of defending the agency against claims of fraud, intentional misrepresentation and punitive damages, which are often included in the allegations by buyers who claim to have been misinformed by sellers and their agents. While such allegations are serious and threaten the reputation of the real estate agent and realtor, we recognize that many realtors are self-insured on such claims and take an economical approach to defending these cases.
