Bart C. Sullivan has nearly twenty years of litigation experience. His work is concentrated in the areas of environmental, insurance, maritime, and commercial and business litigation. Although much of his work is in Missouri and Illinois, he has successfully handled matters in numerous states in the midwest and southeast. Bart has tried numerous cases to verdict and has been involved in a number of very large matters, high-profile trials, and “hot” litigation areas. For example, he has successfully represented:
He has defended numerous cases involving alleged wrongful death and catastrophic injuries, and
has represented business clients on matters ranging from employment-related claims to
multimillion dollar transactions. Bart also has significant administrative and appellate
experience, and has argued in state and federal appeals courts throughout the midwest.
He is licensed in Missouri and Illinois, and admitted before the United States Courts of Appeals
for the Sixth and Eighth Circuits. He is also admitted to practice in various federal district courts
in Missouri and Illinois. Bart has served as Chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission of
Town and Country, Missouri; on the Dean’s Council of the Saint Louis University School of
Law; and in other civic positions and efforts. He is an avid fan of St. Louis Rams football and
