Biography:
Bart C. Sullivan has more than 23 years of litigation experience. He has successfully defended matters in eight states, working most frequently in Missouri and Illinois.
Bart has tried numerous cases to verdict and has been involved in a number of high-exposure matters, high-profile trials, and “hot” litigation areas. For example, he has successfully represented:
- Multiple defendants in environmental litigation and claims.
- Pharmaceutical and medical product manufacturers.
- Commercial and business interests in a variety of settings.
- Insurers and reinsurers in coverage disputes.
- Class-action defendants in automotive, medical products, and environmental cases.
- International defendants in automotive and all-terrain vehicle litigation.
Bart has defended numerous cases involving alleged wrongful death and catastrophic injuries,
and has represented business clients on matters ranging from employment-related claims to
multimillion-dollar transactions. Bart also has significant administrative and appellate experience,
and has argued in state and federal appeals courts throughout the Midwest.
Additionally, Bart has frequently served as a speaker and has published articles on legal topics in a variety of areas.
Bart has served as Chair of the Planning and Zoning Commission of Town and Country, Missouri; on the Dean’s Council of the Saint Louis University School of Law; in the University of Kentucky Alumni Association; in various capacities in numerous political campaigns; and in other civic positions and efforts.
