Dana Tucker

Dana Tucker is a seasoned trial attorney, focusing on commercial litigation, medical malpractice, and product liability. Her background includes representation of both plaintiffs and defendants, bringing strategic advantage in her current work—which is primarily defense—through her familiarity with various strategies employed by opposing counsel.
Bearing a wealth of experience in health care law, Dana represented two of the country’s top hospitals challenging claims of personal injury and negligence. Major pharmaceutical companies seek her skillful representation to defend their product liability, serious personal injury, and wrongful death claims.

Working on cases with Fox Galvin, Dana has:

Obtained a preliminary injunction in a covenant not-to-compete dispute, saving the health care provider over $1 million.
Represented an oil and gas company in multi-district litigation against “hot gas” complaints, alleging deceptive and misleading practices and conspiracy.
Successfully defended a complaint against a latex glove manufacturer when no corroborating evidence was submitted.
Worked on an air, soil, and water contamination case brought against a company by the community in which they operated.

Prior to joining Fox Galvin, Dana spent 2000-2002 representing high-profile clients across the country with famed trail attorney Willie E. Gary. Her work with Gary included a collaboration with Johnny Cochran on a misappropriation of trade secrets case, in which they obtained a verdict in excess of $200 million dollars. Dana spent her first two years of practice working at one of St. Louis’ largest law firms, followed by four years of significant jury trial experience with Richard Banks & Associates.

Having observed numerous jury trials during law school, Dana found her passion for litigation. In this area of practice, Dana applies her strong interpersonal skills—particularly her ability to relate to people—which is vital for effectively communicating with, and impacting, juries.
